The WeShop Referral Program (“Referral Program”) allows a registered WeShop user (“Member”) to collect commission ("Referral Promotional Commission") by referring friends to WeShop.
To participate, Members must agree to these terms, which become part of the WeShop Membership Agreement (“Membership Agreement”). Capitalised terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the Membership Agreement.
How to Collect Referral Promotional Commision
Members can collect Referral Promotional Commission if: (i) a referred friend clicks on the Member’s referral link to create a valid WeShop Account that complies with our Membership Agreement; and (ii) the referred friend completes a qualifying transaction.
The referring Member’s wallet will be credited with the Promotional Commission detailed in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials when the referred friend’s qualifying transaction has been approved by the Retailer and we have received our Referral Fee from the Retailer.
A Qualifying Transaction must be a single transaction comprising of one of more purchase(s) from the same Retailer. The transaction must be made through the WeShop platform and have a total value of at least £25 (excluding delivery), unless otherwise detailed in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials. The referred friend must not return the purchase(s) otherwise the transaction will be denied and no Promotional Commision will be credited in to the Member’s wallet.
Redeeming Promotional Commision
Promotional Commission may be redeemed via any WeShop payment method and will automatically appear as Available Commision in the Member’s dashboard once the Retailer has approved the transaction and we have received our Referral Fee. Promotional and transactional Commission can be redeemed once the Member’s Available Commission balance is 1,000 commision or greater. All Commission must be redeemed within 12 months. After one year of inactivity the Member’s Commission will expire.
Promotional Commission may not be earned by creating multiple WeShop Accounts. Promotional Commission accrued in separate WeShop Accounts may not be combined into one WeShop Account.
If for any reason, you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your Commission balance please contact us. WeShop may require you to submit additional information to make a decision regarding your Commision balance. All decisions regarding your Commision balance will be final and at WeShop’s sole discretion.
You are responsible for any Tax consequences, if any, that may result from your redemption or use of Promotional Commision. Where applicable, WeShop may be required to account for VAT on any services for which the Promotional Commision are redeemed.
Sharing Referral Links
Referral links should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections who will appreciate receiving these invitations. Referral links should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal friends.
Referred friends that have signed up using a valid referral link will also receive the number of Promotional Commision detailed in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials when making a qualifying transaction.
The use of duplicate accounts by the same person to claim multiple sets of Commision will be closely monitored.
The referred Member’s wallet will be credited with the number Promotional Commision detailed in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials when the referred friends qualifying transaction has been approved by the Retailer and we have received our Referral Fee from the Retailer.
A referred friend may only use one referral link. If a referred friend receives referral links from multiple Members, only the corresponding Member of the referral link used by the referred friend will receive the Promotional Commision. Where multiple links are used the link clicked most recently will be taken to be the referring Member.
If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Termination and Changes
WeShop may suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a Member’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time for any reason.
We reserve the right to suspend Accounts or remove Promotional Commision at any time and for any reason, including if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the Membership Agreement. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend Accounts or modify referrals at our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.
The scope, variety, and type of payment methods that you may use to redeem Promotional Commision can change at any time.
Updates to the Terms
We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the WeShop.co.uk website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Referral Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
